The Slice Guys expectations were high going into the evening as Posto’s inspiration is the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN). Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (“True Neapolitan Pizza Association”), which was founded in 1984, has set the very specific rules that must be followed for an authentic Neapolitan pizza. These include that the pizza must be baked in a wood-fired, domed oven; that the base must be hand-kneaded and must not be rolled with a pin or prepared by any mechanical means and that the pizza must not exceed 35 centimeters in diameter or be more than one-third of a centimeter thick at the center. What is Titicaca & Mr. Oregano

Ooooweeee…what is that smell?! Stone Hearth’s aromatic first impression hits you in the face harder than the giant, 200lb red curtain that obstructs their entrance-way.  This was a nice touch because it felt as if you were fighting your way through a dark catacomb in search of a glorious treasure that lay just ahead. As we entered, the first thing “The Guys” (Boboli, Tombstone, & Celeste) and guests (Mr. Oregano, & What is Titicaca) noticed were the smiling faces of happy people…lots of ‘em. That was a good initial sign and was a welcoming factor that indicated that there had to be something good about this place.
